Who it is for

  • Nationals of countries on Albania's visa-exemption list travelling for a short stay
  • Holders of certain valid Schengen, US or UK multiple-entry visas or residence permits, subject to the Ministry's conditions
  • Visitors who will not work and will stay within the permitted period

What you can do

  • Enter for tourism, visiting family or friends, or business meetings
  • Stay only up to the period permitted for your nationality
  • Apply for a residence permit if you intend to stay longer or work

How to apply

  • No visa application is required if your nationality is exempt
  • Confirm your eligibility and permitted stay on the Ministry's visa regime page before travel
  • Carry a passport valid for the duration of your stay and evidence of purpose and funds if requested at the border
