How to apply
- Create an application on the official e-Visa portal
- Complete the form and upload passport and photo
- Pay the visa fee online
- Download the approved visa once issued
Requirements
- A passport or travel document that stays valid for the duration of your intended stay (the official e-Visa portal asks for a passport valid for at least 6 months).
- You must be outside the territory of Albania when you apply, and remain outside it after the visa fee is paid — the e-Visa is only issued to applicants abroad.
- Applicants with dual citizenship must apply using the passport they will actually travel on; if the travel document differs from the one registered with the e-Visa, the e-Visa is invalid.
- Supporting documents matched to the visa type you select (for a short-stay Type C this typically includes accommodation, sufficient funds, travel health insurance and a return ticket).

- A passport-standard photo on a white background, 47 mm x 36 mm (555 px height x 425 px width, 300 DPI).
- Any supporting documents requested for your visa type, each scanned and in PDF format, in Albanian or English.
