With the launch of the electronic visa system, IPNA has indicated that e-Visas are typically issued within about three to five working days once a complete application and documents have been verified.

Processing can take longer where additional checks are needed or where security conditions affect operations. Apply well ahead of intended travel and do not book non-refundable arrangements until the visa is issued.
