Documents Required to Visit the UK

Applicants must demonstrate that they are genuine visitors or travellers entering the UK for lawful purposes. Supporting evidence should confirm that you will leave the UK after your visit, can afford the trip, and intend to comply with visa conditions.

Digital copies and scanned documents are accepted for most categories, but original passports must always be submitted.

Translation Requirements

• A copy of the parent or guardian’s passport or national ID.
• A signed consent letter confirming travel arrangements, including who the child will stay with in the UK.

If You Are Travelling Without a Parent or Guardian

Minors travelling alone or with someone other than their parent must provide a signed letter of consent from a parent or guardian confirming:
