Visit, transit and business
The official purposes include touristic visits, single and double transit, and business meetings or commerce. The e-Visa covers tourism and business purposes; other routes handle the rest.
Events and activities
Further official purposes include conferences and seminars, festivals, fairs and exhibitions, sportive activities, and cultural or artistic activities. Choose the purpose that matches your visit.
Official visits
Official visits are a separate listed purpose. For any purpose the e-Visa does not cover — such as work or study — a visa is obtained through a Turkish Representation abroad. Confirm the correct route with the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs guidance.
