Who it is for

Requirements
- Submit supporting documents relating to the aim of stay (enrolment/study)
- Not fall within the scope of Article 7 (grounds for refusal of entry)
- Register an address in Türkiye
- Enrol in general health insurance within three months, or hold valid private health insurance
What you can do
- Reside in Türkiye for the duration of the course of study
- Renew the permit while studies continue
- Count half of the permit period towards long-term residence eligibility
How to apply
- Create the application on the e-Residence (e-İkamet) system at e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr
- Provide proof of enrolment, address and health insurance
- Attend the appointment and await the decision of the Presidency of Migration Management
