Requirements

How to apply
- Complete the online application through the official Thai e-Visa system at thaievisa.go.th
- Book an appointment and bring hard-copy supporting documents to the embassy/consulate on the appointment date
- Attend in person (required for most non-immigrant categories)
- The embassy/consulate reserves the right to require additional documents or interview the applicant; final permission and length of stay are at the discretion of the Immigration Bureau
Documents you may need
- Passport and a completed application form with photograph
- B (business/work): guarantee letter from the employer, invitation letter from the company in Thailand, and Thai company registration documents; a work permit / WP3 where the stay exceeds 15 days
- ED (study/training): enrolment or training-course confirmation and approval from the Ministry of Education
- O (family): invitation from an immediate relative in Thailand plus official evidence of the relationship
- O-A (long-stay, age 50+): financial evidence of not less than 800,000 THB deposit or 65,000 THB monthly income, a no-criminal-record certificate, a medical certificate and qualifying Thai health insurance
- Company/institution letters must be on official letterhead with an official seal
