How to apply

Apply through the Immigration Division with Labour Department support and employment details. For urgent short assignments an Emergency Employment visa (30 days, up to four entries a year) is available separately.

  • Letter of Support from the Labour Division
  • Police report from the country of origin
  • Medical report from the country of origin
  • Sponsor letter of indemnity

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes. The Short-Term Employment Visa requires both a valid work permit from the Commissioner of Labour and a Letter of Support from the Labour Division before it can be granted; the visa alone does not authorise work.
