Requirements
- You are entering Mexico as a visitor for tourism, business or a similar non-lucrative short stay
- You are either visa-exempt for Mexico, or already hold the appropriate visa
- You hold a valid passport or accepted travel and identity document
- You do not intend to carry out paid work or take up residence on this document
How to apply
- If arriving by air, your carrier registers your entry and you are issued the digital FMMD; download it from the INM FMM portal within the download window after entry
- If arriving by land, complete the Forma Migratoria Multiple at the immigration point and pay the migratory fee
- Present your passport and, where applicable, your visa to the immigration officer at the port of entry
- Keep your FMM/FMMD for the duration of your stay — you may need to show it on departure
