Yellow Fever and Entry Health Requirements

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is an entry requirement for Liberia and should be carried alongside your passport and visa.

Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Liberia requires travellers to hold a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate (commonly the 'Yellow Book' Certificate of Immunization) to enter. It is checked alongside your passport and visa, so carry the original with your travel documents.

Arrange yellow fever vaccination well before departure, as the certificate becomes valid only after a set period. Check for any additional health measures in force with the Liberia Immigration Service or your nearest Liberian mission before you travel.
