Kuwait visas
Whether you need a visa for Kuwait, and which one, depends on your nationality and the purpose of your visit. Short visits are handled through the Ministry of Interior's electronic visa system (the "Visit Kuwait" platform), while living and working in Kuwait requires a residency permit (iqama) sponsored by an employer or family member and issued by the Ministry of Interior, with private-sector work permits handled by the Public Authority for Manpower. The Ministry of Interior is the government authority responsible for entry visas and residency in Kuwait.
