Who it is for

Requirements

  • Completed Work Visa application form
  • Two passport-size colour photographs and passport/travel document
  • A job offer including job description, pay and conditions of employment
  • Evidence of qualifications relevant to the job offer
  • Evidence of work experience relevant to the job offer
  • Medical certificate(s) if required
  • Police certificate(s) if required (generally where you plan to stay 24 months or longer)
  • Religious workers: completed Sponsorship Form for Religious Workers
  • Consular domestic staff: Statement of Undertaking from the employer and Declaration of Acceptance from the applicant

What you can do

  • Work in Kiribati for the approved employer/purpose
  • Specific-purpose applicants may come for a defined event or task

How to apply

  • Download and complete the Work Visa application form and select the work category
  • Attach the job offer, qualification and experience evidence and any required certificates
  • Pay the applicable fee (contact the Visa Officer)
  • Submit to the Immigration Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration
