Requirements

  • Valid passport
  • Marriage certificate (or proof of relationship for dependants)
  • Sponsor's Indonesian identity documents or residence permit
  • Sponsorship declaration through the immigration system

What you can do

  • Reside in Indonesia with the sponsoring family member
  • Spouse of an Indonesian citizen can progress toward KITAP and citizenship
  • Right to work is limited - a separate work permit is generally required to earn income

How to apply

  • Sponsor initiates the application in the immigration system
  • Apply online via evisa.imigrasi.go.id
  • Enter Indonesia and obtain the family KITAS
