Requirements
- Application letter requesting the residence permit
- Two passport-sized photographs
- Copy of bank statement or indenture
- Letter of consent from the child's parents (where applicable)
- Copy of the child's birth certificate
- Statutory declaration (affidavit) by the guardian from the High Court
- Two guarantors with copies of Ghanaian passport / national ID
- Copy of marriage certificate (where applicable)
- Letter of support from the principal guarantor
- Signed bond form (executed at the nearest immigration office)
- Copy of non-citizen identification card
What you can do
- Reside in Ghana as the dependant of the sponsoring expatriate or Ghanaian
- Travel in and out of Ghana during the validity of the permit
How to apply
Submit the application letter and supporting documents to the appropriate immigration office and execute the bond form at the nearest office. Government fees are payable on application.
