Equatorial Guinea requires most foreign visitors to obtain an e-Visa before arrival. A limited number of nationalities are exempt, and holders of certain diplomatic, official or service passports enjoy separate exemptions under bilateral agreements.
Citizens of fellow CEMAC member states (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo and Gabon) have historically been able to enter the CEMAC free-movement zone with a national identity card or biometric passport. Because exemption lists change through bilateral agreements, always confirm your specific nationality's status before travel.
