Who it is for

Requirements

  • Valid passport with adequate remaining validity
  • Written communication with the company name, legal designation, address, tax ID (NIT), main activity and number of direct jobs generated
  • Proof of investment of no less than 100 SMLMV, or a Bank of the Republic foreign-investment registration
  • Evidence that the business is active and solvent (bank statements, tax declarations, social-security contributions, commercial documents)
  • Documents apostilled/legalised and translated into Spanish where required

  • Create an account on the online visa platform at tramitesmre.cancilleria.gov.co
  • Complete the Migrant (M) - Partner/Owner application form
  • Upload company documentation and proof of investment
  • Pay the applicable study and issuance fees
