Who it is for

  • Skilled workers, graduates and others who match a province's or territory's labour-market needs
  • People who intend to live in the nominating province or territory

Requirements

  • Meet the criteria of a specific provincial or territorial PNP stream
  • Apply to, and be nominated by, the province or territory
  • Meet the federal permanent residence requirements (including admissibility)
  • For the Express Entry pathway, also meet an Express Entry program's eligibility

How to apply

  • Apply to the province or territory following its own instructions to seek a nomination
  • Express Entry pathway: create an Express Entry profile and accept the nomination for 600 extra points
  • Non-Express Entry pathway: apply for permanent residence through the Permanent Residence Portal after nomination
