Requirements
- You must be a national of Australia, Canada or the United States — the nationalities currently required to hold a visitor visa and eligible to apply online.
- Your purpose of travel must be tourism or business, with no intention to reside and no paid work in Brazil.
- A passport that is signed, valid throughout your trip, and has at least two blank visa pages.
- Evidence of sufficient funds — a bank statement from the last 30 days showing at least US$2,000 available.
- A confirmed flight reservation showing your entry and exit dates.
How to apply
- Go to the official VFS Global e-visa portal at brazil.vfsevisa.com.
- Complete the online visa application form.
- Upload your passport bio page, photo and supporting documents.
- Pay the US$80.90 fee online.
- Receive the approved e-Visa by email and print it to carry with your passport.
Documents you may need
- A signed passport, valid for the whole trip, with at least two blank visa pages.
- The completed online application form.
- A recent passport-style photo (2" x 2", white background).
- A bank statement from the last 30 days showing at least US$2,000 available.
- A confirmed flight reservation showing entry and exit dates.
- Business travellers: a company letter on official stationery, signed by a manager or director, covering the nature of the business, your role and the planned activities.
- For minors under 18: original birth certificate and a signed parental authorisation form.
