Requirements
- You have been offered a place for full-time study at an approved institution in Singapore (Government, Government-aided, independent school, Institute of Higher Learning, or approved Private Education Institution).
- Your school has registered you in SOLAR so you can submit the online application.
- You submit the application at least 2 months, and not more than 3 months, before your course begins.
- You can produce original documents and official English translations for ICA to verify and retain.
How to apply
Your school registers you in SOLAR; you then complete and submit the Student's Pass application online using the e-Service within the 2-to-3-month window before your course starts.
After approval, complete the formalities in person and pay the issuance fee to have the Student's Pass issued.
- School registers you in SOLAR and gives you the reference to log in.
- Complete the online application and upload the required documents.
- Pay the S$45 processing fee.
- Attend ICA to complete formalities and pay the S$60 issuance fee (plus S$30 Multiple Journey Visa if you are a visa-required national).
Documents you may need
- Registration Acknowledgement Letter from your school.
- Travel document (passport) biodata page.
- Birth certificate, where applicable.
- A recent passport-sized digital colour photograph taken within the last 3 months.
- Details of education, employment history and financial support, and family members' particulars where applicable.
- Residential address and contact details in Singapore.
- Original documents and official English translations (for non-English documents), plus copies for ICA to retain.
