• Short-Term Residence Permit L for Gainful EmploymentVisa route

  For those taking up employment in Liechtenstein for a limited period, typically under twelve months. This short-term residence permit suits fixed-term or temporary roles rather than indefinite work.

• Residence Permit B Without Gainful Employment (Draw)Visa route

  A long-term residence permit for financially independent people (including retirees) who do not intend to work in Liechtenstein, allowing them to settle without taking up gainful employment.

• Short-Term Residence Permit L for Study / TrainingVisa route

  For students, this short-term residence permit allows enrolment in study or training in Liechtenstein without taking up gainful employment during the course.

• Family ReunificationVisa route

  Allows spouses, registered/de facto partners and children to join a family member who is lawfully resident in Liechtenstein, granting them residence permits of their own.

• Permanent Residence and Establishment (C Permit)Visa route

  The settled status for people who have lived lawfully in Liechtenstein for a qualifying period, granting a more secure and long-term right to remain.
