Moldova visas

Whether you need a visa for the Republic of Moldova depends on your nationality and the purpose and length of your stay: many nationalities may enter visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, while others need a short-stay (type C), transit or long-stay (type D) visa, and anyone staying beyond 90 days needs a residence permit. Short-stay and transit visas can be applied for through the official e-Visa portal (evisa.gov.md), while long-stay visas are handled by Moldovan diplomatic missions abroad. Immigration and residence matters are administered by the General Inspectorate for Migration under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with visa policy set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
