Requirements
- Valid temporary resident or temporary student resident card
- Job offer from a natural person or legal entity registered as an employer with the INM, stating the activity, duration, workplace and employer registration number
- Employer's valid INM employer-registration certificate
- Completed application form and supporting identity documents
What you can do
- Carry out the paid activity described in the job offer once authorisation is granted
- Have the work permission reflected on the resident card
- Continue to renew alongside the underlying temporary resident status

- Confirm the prospective employer holds a valid INM employer registration
- Submit the application to the INM office inside Mexico with the job offer and supporting documents
- Attend any verification steps the INM requires and collect the updated card
