Requirements
- Valid passport or travel document and one photograph
- Acceptance letter from an institution in the National Education System with the applicant, institution and course details
- Proof of economic solvency to cover living costs and tuition (own funds, or from parents/guardians if aged up to 25, or a scholarship letter)
What you can do
- Study on the accepted programme for the visa's validity
- Renew student residence for the duration of studies
- Apply separately to the INM for permission to carry out paid activities related to higher-level studies
How to apply
- Book an appointment and apply at the Mexican consulate with the acceptance letter and financial evidence
- Enter Mexico on the visa
- Obtain the temporary student resident card at the INM within 30 calendar days of arrival
