Israeli Visa Processing Times
ETA-IL decisions are usually quick, but travellers are advised to apply well ahead; consular, work, family and immigration cases take longer and depend on PIBA review.
Important
Applicants are advised to submit an ETA-IL at least 72 hours before travel, though many decisions are faster. Consular B/2 visas depend on the workload of the individual mission.
Work, student, family reunification and immigration cases involve PIBA review and multi-stage processes and can take considerably longer — family reunification, in particular, follows a graduated procedure lasting several years. Treat any stated timeframe as indicative and verify with PIBA.
