Canadian events visas

Major international events like the FIFA World Cup 2026 bring large numbers of visitors to Canada, but there is no dedicated event visa. Attending is treated as tourism, so you enter on the standard visitor routes: an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) if you are visa-exempt and arriving by air, or a visitor visa (Temporary Resident Visa) if your nationality requires one.
