Visa routes

  • Short-Term Work PermitVisa route

    A work permit valid for up to eleven months under section 17 of the Immigration Act, applied for by the employer or sponsor on behalf of a non-citizen worker.

  • Long-Term Work PermitVisa route

    A work permit valid for up to three years under section 17 of the Immigration Act, where the employer must show that no qualified Barbadian citizen is available for the role.
